Overview

This comprehensive self-paced course is designed to help NACA Members interested in purchasing an owner-occupied residential multi-family property, understand the risks and responsibilities involved in the business of being a landlord, and to share some proven ways of handling them successfully.   This is online course satisfies the landlord education requirement to become NACA qualified to purchase a residential multi-family property of two to four units.

This course is not all inclusive and does not represent a replacement for the legal and professional advice landlords should seek in order to ensure their interests and rights are protected, and to comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Scholarship Eligibility

This landlord education course valued at $500.00 is completely free for NACA Members interested in learning the skills that will help them effectively manage their rental units and meet their obligations as landlords while observing federal, state and local laws and regulations.   To be eligible for the full tuition scholarship you must be a NACA member and provide a valid NACA Member ID when you register. After completing the registration form, your will receive a confirmation message.  Once your application is  reviewed and  approved, you will receive a welcome email with the instructions to join the free self-paced training course.

Non-NACA Members interested in taking this course must also complete the registration form and agree to all terms.  After completing the registration form, you will receive a confirmation message with the link to sign up and complete payment.

 

Certificate

Participants will receive a certificate of completion upon completing the training curriculum and final exam.
